Our Approach to Quality
Repeatable parts come from repeatable processes. Nearly all of our 32 presses were bought new, and every one is continually maintained and rebuilt, with control-system upgrades and on-hand screw and barrel assemblies that keep processes stable and reduce unplanned downtime. That discipline on the floor is the foundation everything else is built on.
Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified and compliant with the automotive TS-16949 MAQMSR (Minimum Automotive Quality Management System Requirements). We apply the core automotive quality tools — from planning a new program through validating parts and monitoring production — so quality is engineered in, not inspected in after the fact.
Quality Tools & Methods
We use the standard toolset our automotive and regulated customers expect, applied consistently across new programs and ongoing production.
APQP
Advanced Product Quality Planning. A structured, up-front framework that plans and de-risks a new program — aligning design, tooling, process, and inspection before the first production run.
PPAP
Production Part Approval Process. The documented submission package that demonstrates a part and its process consistently meet customer requirements before production is approved.
FMEA
Failure Mode & Effects Analysis. A proactive review that identifies potential design and process failure modes, ranks their risk, and drives mitigations before they can reach a part.
Control Plans
Document the controls, characteristics, checks, and reaction plans at each step of the process, so operators and technicians run to a defined, repeatable standard.
SPC
Statistical Process Control. Key characteristics are monitored with real data to keep processes centered and in control, catching drift before it becomes a defect.
MSA
Measurement Systems Analysis. We validate that gauges and measurement methods are accurate and repeatable, so the data we act on can be trusted.
First Article Inspection (FAI)
Full dimensional and functional verification of initial parts against the print — confirming the tool and process produce a conforming part before production volumes run.
